Aileen Abello Rivera, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Aileen is a New York-born, Miami-raised bilingual Psychotherapist with a rich Hispanic heritage. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to serving a diverse clientele with empathy and understanding.

Aileen earned her degree from CAU, where she developed a passion for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Psychology. She believes that each client is unique, and therefore their care and treatment should be tailored to their specific needs.

Aileen’s approach is highly solution-focused, and she views herself as her clients' biggest cheerleader, actively encouraging them to take charge of their lives and reach their fullest potential. She integrates techniques from CBT with the principles of Positive Psychology to empower her clients to build resilience, cultivate positivity, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

Aileen values a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients feel supported and motivated to work towards their goals. She works with clients of all ages, and is particularly passionate about helping them overcome challenges, develop self-acceptance, and achieve personal growth.
